This will help offset costs of fly traps, sticky tape, farm labor, implements for the tractor, diesel and various other things that we need to buy for the farm. Your help is gratefully appreciated! Thank you 🙏 very much for your kind consideration. I am glad that you appreciate the service that we provide and the convenience of coming in and out without standing in long lines or traveling long distances. Please ensure that there are no bottles, candy wrappers, baling twine, plastic or coffee cups mixed in the load. Branches have to be cut up into 2 feet (24 inches sections).
Recycling food waste! Cleaning out your freezer or refrigerator? Or garden ?
Hi there ! We are a small, incubating family farm and are trying to make our own compost to improve the soil in the greenhouses, garden beds and growing areas. If you have any of the following items, you can bring your donations to the farm in tubs, totes or buckets. Trucks are okay too!
- Food scraps, left-overs, fruit peels, coffee with filters etc.
- Cardboard without plastic tape, newspapers, magazines (without glossy covers.)
- Paper towels and napkins (not chemical clean-up cholrox wipes!)
- Garden residue, weeds, bushes, grass clippings.
- Branches cut up into 12-18 inches sections.
- Dairy products, meat, bones, chicken, beef, pork (raw or cooked or spoiled is okay!)
- Egg shells, veggies, freezer burnt stuff, refrigerator clean up stuff weekly !
Just remember to use a common sense rule of the thumb: Any chemicals that you won't put in your mouth should not go into the compost donations bin.
Just f.y.i. - we don't accept noxious weeds for composting. Just too risky to contaminate the whole farm with their seeds accidentally !
Thank you !
Currently, drop-off is by appointment. A quick phone call to Farmer Dolphin Ayub at 360-489-2830 will help to agree on easy, mutually convinient time! When you are here at the farm, be sure to ask about fresh eggs ($4 per dozen) or Jars of honey (4 quarts for $100- special DEAL!)

Dear friends of the farm and folks that are donating manure, we are requesting a suggested donation of $20 for a pick up load of manure / yard waste and $40 for a dump trailer full of manure or Yardwaste. This will help offset costs of fly traps, sticky tape, farm labor, implements for the tractor, diesel and various other things that we need to buy for the farm. Your help is gratefully appreciated!
Please look for a new donation box which looks like a black mailbox and it is under the blue flag of planet earth near the Pergola with the grapes. Black donations box.
Storm debris? twigs, bushes, cut-up branches? You can dump here at the farm for a small fee.
Please note: branches have to be cut up into 1-2 foot sections, not whole branches. They take 3 years to break down.
Carbon sequestration on this little farm - with burial of sod, mulch, old hay, weeds, soil, wood chips and manure.
Got sod or grass clippings? No plastic or glass or styrofoam! We can take your yard waste at our PERMACULTURE family farm. Plz call or text /////360////-489-////2830 before coming.
No, we don't take black-berries, scotch-broom or ivy or morning glory (bind weed) because it contaminates the compost and we have to hand-pick and pay garbage/trash charges at the dump ourselves. No branches, roots or stumps (because we don't have a grinder or chipper).
Entry into farm by appointment only. Please don't just show up or drive in.
Got horse manure?Need a place to dump it ? Come to our little family farm! we need manure for compost!
We use it for composting and tilling into the ground for our summer crops! Also, for the orchard and the cover crops. Corn grows nice, tall and juicy with manure at it's roots.
Save on dump fees! Why take it to Lacey, when you can bring it here?
